FIRST HALF 2006 TEN WELLS DRILL PROGRAM

International Sovereign Energy Corp. (the “Company”) reports that as a result of two recently signed farm-in agreements the Company’s drilling program during the first half of 2006 has been expanded to ten (10) wells.

The first farm-in agreement is with three companies holding a collective interest in two blocks of land in the Sinclair area, Manitoba. Under the agreement the Company is obligated to fund the drilling of two 1,050 m (approximate) wells. The Company will earn a 100% interest in the first well subject to a convertible royalty. On completion of the second well the Company will earn a 60% interest in the remaining lands. The wells will test the Bakken formation Mississippian-Devonian prospects targeting light 40 degree API oil. The targets offset a proven Bakken oil discovery. The blocks provide a development opportunity for up to an additional ten (10) wells. Upon completion of the first two wells the Company will become the designated operator. Drilling of the first well is scheduled to commence on Friday, March 10, 2006.

The second farm-in agreement is with two companies holding a collective interest in two sections of land in the Forestburg area, Alberta. Under the agreement terms the Company is obligated to fund the drilling of one 1,125 m gas well targeting Glauconite sands subject to a convertible royalty in order to earn a 100% interest in the lands.

During March, 2006 three (3) gas wells are scheduled to be drilled namely at Grimshaw 10-17-82-22 (where the Company holds a 75% working interest, at Berwyn 2-11-84-1 (a 100% working interest well) and at Medicine River 5-30-38-2 (where the Company holds a 64% working interest). A drilling rig has been contracted for all three wells and is due on site at Grimshaw March 12, 2006. Planning for the balance of the drill program consisting of one re-entry gas well in which the Company holds a 75% working interest and three new gas wells is progressing as scheduled.

International Sovereign Energy Corp. is an oil and gas exploration development and production company with offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta and Islamabad, Pakistan and is active in the exploration and development of hydrocarbon reserves in Western Canada and internationally.
